NDSS Supports the Alzheimer’s Accountability and Investment Act

Published on

The United States Congress introduced the Alzheimer’s Accountability and Investment Act in the 118th Congress which would ensure Alzheimer’s and dementia research is funded at the levels needed to achieve the goals in the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease. NDSS has also played an active role in advocating for the NAPA Reauthorization Act, as amended by the Senate HELP Committee, to ensure the important work of the NAPA council continues and is inclusive of the Down syndrome community. Our unequivocal support of the Alzheimer’s Accountability and Investment Act builds upon these efforts.
