BUDDY WALK 2024 MISSION

Our primary mission for this year’s event is to raise funds for programs that will materially help our members to maximize their potentials in the following three areas of their lives: Education, Employment, and Independent Living. We will accomplish this mission through collaboration with a variety of service providers, organizations with shared values, and active participation by our members.

The The Cause:

• Education, Employment, and Independent Living for our members
• Impact Programs such as: Computer Class; Self-Advocacy Public Speaking Class; Reading Clinic; Assistive Technology (iPad Loan Program)
• Recreational Programs such as: Performing Arts; Dance/Movement; Bowling, and Art-Painting
• Other Misc Programs: Life-Skills; Employment Preparation; Music Therapy, and Resource referals for children/adults and parents/family member

• Activities Will Include:
  • Las Vegas Cadillac Club Cars Display
  • Clark High School Marching Band
  • Professional Jugglers
  • A Variety of Dance Performances, to include Straight Up Abilities, Hawaiian Dancers, DSOSN Dance Troupe, and much more
  • Superhero Costume Characters
  • Inflatable Rides/Games for Kids (Slide Into Vegas)
  • Hula-hoop dance contest
  • Raffles/Give Aways/Music, and much more…
