(New York, NY) – Celebrity jeweler George Khalife, better known as George The Jeweler, has created a one-of-a-kind ring to auction in partnership with The National Down Syndrome Society in honor of World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st, 2022. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the National Down Syndrome Society in continued support of the organization's key areas of programming and resources for the Down Syndrome community. The auction will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022, and run through the end of the month to coincide with other fundraising opportunities the organization has throughout March. 
 
George The Jeweler is a celebrity jeweler based in Detroit, Michigan. Over the last five years, George has maintained a role as a favorite in the industry and established himself as a go-to for celebrities and stylists in Hollywood by designing and styling custom pieces for an A-list filled roster. In honor of World Down Syndrome Day, George has created a size 6, 18K white gold ring flushed with 1.5 carats of diamonds and 1.5 carats of yellow sapphires. The color yellow was specifically chosen to honor the colors for Down Syndrome awareness. There are 252 stones total and 3.00 carats of stones total. The retail value of the ring is $7500.00. 
 
"Down Syndrome is very close to my heart, and some very important people in my life have the condition," says George. "I feel the diagnosis is still very misunderstood, and I want to support an organization like the NDSS to continue to raise awareness about Down Syndrome and create resources while showing how special and beautiful these individuals are."
