On January 16, 2026, the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) sent a letter to Congressional leadership on funding priorities in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies appropriations bill. NDSS urges Congress to preserve and adequately fund the agencies and programs that support community living, integration, and equal opportunity for all individuals with disabilities.
