On June 4, 2026, the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) sent a letter to the House Appropriations Committee ahead of the Committee's consideration of the Fiscal Year 2027 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies appropriations bill. NDSS asks lawmakers to preserve and fund the key programs and agencies that protect community living, integration, education, and health and wellbeing for individuals with disabilities.
