On June 12th, Congresswoman Bonamici, Congresswoman Schrier, and Congressman Courtney reintroduced the Respond, Innovate, Succeed, and Empower (RISE) Act (H.R. 3939). If passed, this bill will allow college students to use previous documentation of their disability from K-12 schooling to receive accommodations on campus, saving valuable time and money and making higher education more accessible.
